From Sep. 3rd until Sep. 5th 2021 the 17th Classic-Gala was held at Schwetzingen. Wonderful weather and again a huge variety of cars from the ancestor era until today were displayed in the wonderful gardens of Schwetzingen. At the park entry several Maybach were lined up to celebrate the 100th anniversary. Another centenary was the one of Carozzeria Ghia.
This 1938 BMW 328 Roadster by Vignale was 2nd "Best of Show" and winner of the FIVA Class D2.

This 1965 Ferrari 275 GTB won the "Grand Prix 2020" and FIVA Class F1.

From Sep. 4th until Sep. 6th 2020 the 16th Classic-Gala was held at Schwetzingen. Despite the hard restriction with the pandemic situation the organizers were able to present a concept where time slots with limited access supported by the spacious grounds of the garden made the event possible. The variety of cars was huge again covering all periods from the end of 19th century until todays cars.

From Aug. 30th until Sep, 1st 2019 the 15th Classic-Gala was held at Schwetzingen. At the fantastic sunny saturday and in perfect atmosphere in the baroque garden of the castle about 180 cars were presented and judged by the jury. The spacious grounds gave enough room for each car and thus also for the visitors. This years honorable make Glas was presented with its almost entire production line directly at the entrance of the garden.

At June 30th 2019 the 19th Classic days at the 'Opelvillen' took place in Rüsselsheim. I visited this event the first time and it was the first classic event this year i was able to visit. Opel used this event to celebrate four jubilees: 120 years of car automotive engineering at Opel, 50 years of Opel KAD B model range, 40 years Opel Cup racing and 40 years ago winning the european rally championship.
